Kanaf Care Terms of Use
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we"). By creating an account or using Kanaf Care, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Kanaf Care is not medical care
Kanaf Care is a record-keeping tool. It does not give medical advice, diagnose, or recommend treatment.
- Always follow your doctor's instructions on medicines, doses and feeding.
- Charts, totals and reports only show what was entered. They are not a medical assessment.
- Do not use the app in an emergency. Call your local emergency number (997 for the Saudi Red Crescent) or go to the nearest hospital.
2. Reminders can fail
Reminders depend on your device, its settings, its battery and its operating system. They may arrive late or not at all. Never rely on Kanaf Care alone to give a medicine or feed on time.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. You may add a child only if you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or you have their permission.
4. Your account
- You sign in using a code sent to your email address. Keep your email account and device secure.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
- Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
5. Your information
- The information you enter stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- You are responsible for making sure entries are accurate, including entries that family members make.
- Keep your own copies of anything important, such as PDF reports.
6. Family sharing
- The owner of a child's file decides who has access and with what role.
- Share a file only with people you trust. They can see everything in it, and caregivers can add to it.
- Invitation codes are for the person you intend them for.
- The owner can transfer a file to a family member who has agreed to store data. The new owner then controls the file, and only they can transfer it back.
- If the owner deletes their account, the child's file is deleted for everyone. Family members should save any copy they need first.
- We cannot settle disagreements between family members or guardians about a file.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Enter information about a child without the right to do so
- Access another person's account or data
- Attack, overload or try to get around the security of the service
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it
- Use the service for anything unlawful
8. Price
Kanaf Care is free to use and shows one small ad. You can remove the ad with a one-time payment through Google Play or the App Store, which also supports the app. The store's own refund rules apply. If we introduce other charges, we will tell you in advance, and you may choose to stop using the service and delete your account.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service running and to back up data every day, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. A failure could lose recent changes. We may update or change the service.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Unless the law or an urgent security issue prevents it, we will warn you first and give you time to save your data.
11. Limit of liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent Saudi law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for harm that results from relying on the app instead of medical advice, from entries that are inaccurate, or from a reminder that did not arrive. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be removed.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make an important change, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes go to the competent courts in the Kingdom. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version applies.
